Egle Silko Nugget Earrings | Silver

A pair of sterling silver earrings, crafted by New Maker Egle Silko. Molten metal is shaped organically by hand into small nuggets, resembling fragments of stone. Each earring carries subtle variations, with tool indentations left visible as marks of the making process.

Based in Tallinn, Estonia, Egle draws inspiration from natural Nordic landscapes and the inherent fluidity of her material. She uses reticulation and freehand melting techniques to form distinctive textures.

This item is part of our New Makers programme. In its eighth year, five makers demonstrating excellence in skill, originality and craftsmanship have been chosen by a TOAST panel. We offer a platform to sell their pieces as well as mentoring until the end of this year, with full profits being returned to them.
